Blisland
Leaf Lace Top Down Sock Pattern
£6.00
This simple cuff down sock pattern is worked in the round beginning with a twisted rib cuff. They are a great pattern for knitters that might be familiar with stocking stitch socks but want to move on to something more interesting, or lace knitters that are keen to knit socks! The socks feature an Eye of Partridge heel flap and gusset and the toe is grafted closed.
Blisland is a small village in North Cornwall that my husband and I used to pass through on our way home after a trip away. Intrigued by the name we stopped by for lunch, only to discover a lovely walk and a great pub serving an epic ploughman’s lunch. Needless to say we returned many more times!
